Web-Based Email offers a number of message-handling functions that will help you organize the flow of incoming mail:
-
To delete a message, select the message and click the "Delete" button. Deleted messages are sent to the "Trash" folder. To empty the trash, click "purge."
-
To move a message to another mailbox folder, first select the message. From the "Move to Folder ..." drop-down menu choose the folder you wish to move the message to. Then click "Go."
-
A second message-handling drop-down menu "Apply This Action:" enables you to:
-
Mark as Unread: Keeps a message listed as "unread."
-
Mark as Read: Displays a selected message as "read."
-
Fwd. as Attachment: Opens the "Compose" window and enables you to forward the selected message as a mail attachment.
-
Print: Allows you to print out a printer-friendly hard copy of the message.
-
This is Spam: Marks the message for spam analysis.
-
Whitelist Sender: Allows all communication from this sender to pass through Web Based Email's spam filter.

Whitelist Domain: Allows all communication from the sender's domain to pass through Web-Based Email's spam filter.

-

-
View Full Header: Shows the full header information for the selected email. This option is available from the message window only, not from the mailbox view.
-
View Source: Shows the source HTML for the selected email. This option is available from the message window only, not from the mailbox view.
-
Purge: Removes the message directly, without sending it to the Trash folder. Purging a message permanently deletes the message.
Thread View/Unthread View
Web-Based Email can display the messages in your mail folders in either "threaded" or "unthreaded" mode.
If "Thread View" is selected, Web-Based Email will group related messages topically and hierarchically so that all replies to a message are listed underneath the originating message. Thus, in the threaded view all in- and outgoing communication derived from a particular message will be displayed together. In the unthreaded view, your messages, regardless of thread, will remain listed sequentially, based on time of receipt or other sort order. Use the links at the top and bottom of the folder view to switch between "Thread View" and "Unthread View" modes.
