The "Options" menu allows you to customize the appearance and features of your Web-Based Email account. By utilizing the "Options" menu the program can be tailored to suit your personal preferences.
The "Options" menu includes nine items:
Personal Information
In this section you can submit and edit your personal information and user preferences, including name and email address. As well, you can set up an auto reply/vacation message for your mail account.
Interface elements and their functions are listed below:
Name
Enter your full name here. This field decides what recipients see in the "From" window when you send an email message. If you leave the field blank your email address will be displayed on the receiving end instead.
Email
If your email address is different than what is automatically assigned you can change it here.
Reply To:
This is the email address that people will reply to when they reply to your message. Use this option if you prefer people to reply to a different email address than the one you are sending the mail from.
New Identity
This section allows you to create a new Web-Based Email identity.
Vacation Message/Auto Reply
This feature enables you to set up a vacation message/auto reply for your account. To do so, enter the auto-reply message in the data-entry field and click "Update." To turn an auto-reply message off, delete the reply text and click "Update." Note that changes to the vacation message/auto reply may take up to 5 minutes to take effect.
Highlight selected incoming messages by defining identifying criteria and background display color. That way, selected messages will stand out in the message index. Click "Add" to create a new standard, or "delete" to remove an existing one.
